1. First, I wanted to tell you about a few good books I’ve come across lately. Young Adult: The Princesses of Iowa by M. Molly Backes, North of Beautiful by Justina Chen, and Out of Reach (a National Book Award finalist of 2012) by Carrie Arcos. (That last one is definitely for the older teen crowd, though.)
New Adult (which are all written for late teen and up): Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, Something Like Normal by Trish Dollar, and Losing It by Cora Carmack. And I’m in the midst of Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park, which is cute. If you all have any recommendations for good NA, please tell me in the comments! I’m on the lookout.
2. In Book News: I am narrowing down the cover design and will have something pretty to show you at the end of the month. I’ve been collecting names of bloggers who’re going to help in the cover reveal, which is VERY exciting for me. I’m so glad you guys want to be a part of this! (And if any of you want in, but haven’t emailed me yet…email me! j AT jmeyersbooks DOT com)
3. Does it count as book news if I tell you that I’m pushing for a April release for Imaginable? I don’t have a date yet (because I don’t want to have to change it) but I have all my fingers and toes crossed that Imaginable will be released in April. YAY! SO excited. :D (And also like this —> O_O because April isn’t very far away.)
4. Speaking of which, I should probably get back to work on it. And since it’s supposed to look like this later today:
I should get plenty of time. :-)
I hope you ALL have the loveliest of weekends!
Measuring Up by Nyrae Dawn is fabulous!
So is Reflections by Jessica Roberts (there is a sequel too but I haven’t read it yet, or maybe that one is the sequel, I can’t remember now LOL).
I have all those books on my list to read that you mentioned above, I really need to read them!
Thanks for the recommendations, Ali! I will look those two up right away. Let me know what you think about those others when you read them.
